The Log Book unfortunately doesn't have a record of our second alpine trip to the Zillertal in Austria in August 1999.
Here's some detail taken from the itinerary published beforehand ....

Travel to Innsbruck
Minibus leaves Cathcart : 0600
Minibus arrives Edinburgh Airport : 0730
Innsbruck flight BY5461 leaves : 0900
Arrive Innsbruck Airport : 1230
Transfer to Hotel Gasthof Engl
Innsbruck to the Pfisterjochhaus via Brennersee and the Landshuter Europa Hutte
Leave Engl for Hauptbanhof : 0800
Brennero train leaves : 0842
Arrive Brennersee Halt (1305m) : 0920
Arrive Landshuter Hutte (2713m) for lunch : app 1330
Approximately 3 hours walk from the Landshuter to the Pfisterjochhaus (2713m) .. ascent of the Kraxentrager at 2999m took an extra 2 hours.
Pfisterjochhaus to Furtschaglhaus
Approximately 5 hours walk to the Furtschaglhaus (2295m) .. the possible ascent of the Schrammacher at 3410m taking an extra 4 hours was bypassed due to time constraints.
Furtschaglhaus to Berliner Hutte
Approximately 5 hours walk to the Berliner Hutte (2040m) via the Schonbichler-Scharte 3081m .. easy ascent of the Schonbichler Horn at 3133m.
Berliner to Greizer Hutte
Approximately 6 hours walk to the Greizer Hutte (2227m) .. possible ascent of the Am Horn at 2647m taking an extra 3 hours was bypassed due to poor weather.
This was the day of the eagerly anticipated total eclipse of the sun which was due to begin around 11am and finish around 2pm with 9 minutes of totality .. but would we see it?
Greizer to Kasseler Hutte
Approximately 5 hours walk to the Kasseler Hutte (2178m) .. the possible ascent of the Grosser Loffler at 3376m taking an extra 5 hours was bypassed due to poor weather.
Kasseler to Mayrhofen
This morning the decision was made, due to continuing poor weather, to head straight for Mayrhofen (633m) rather than stay another night at high level at the pre-booked Edel Hutte (2238m).
One group descended to the Stilluptal and walked out by the Grune-Wand-Hutte while the other stayed at high level to descend by the Ahornbahn Cable Car.
Overnight accommodation in Mayrhofen was negotiated by Richard on a visit to the Tourist Office.
