With the increasing number of Club members retiring from work, Weekday Walks were introduced in May 2019
to enjoy lower level routes and ascents of smaller hills at a time other than at weekends.

in the month of December, Weekday Walkers attend the Club's Christmas Outing, usually held on the first Sunday of the month.

Due to uncertainty about Covid restrictions, and eventual lockdowns, no Weekday Walks took place in year 2020, although routes had been planned for the months of March and April.

The first post-Covid walk took place in April 2021 with a return to Chatelherault.
